Handwoven Throw Tropical

Baby Alpaca, Bamboo, and Silk Throw

Created by Constance Collins
These handwoven throws feature the artist's proprietary complex weave patterns. She modifies traditional weaves using a CAD-based program to flip, rotate, and merge the weaves to create new patterns. Then she strategically integrates colorful warps to create new fabrics featuring shapes uncommon to conventional weaving. Each piece is reversible and is handwoven using eco-friendly baby alpaca, bamboo, and silk yarns. The hand-knotted fringe completes the upscale look. The incredibly soft fabric wraps you in a cloud of warmth and coziness.

Handwoven on Dobby looms in the artist's studio. She strives for zero-waste by upcycling all swatches and excess warp yarns into her artwork.

Fabric Content: 56% Bamboo; 34% Baby Alpaca; 10% Silk.

Gently hand wash cold, towel wrap to remove excess moisture, iron when wet, air dry, or light steam iron. Can also be dry cleaned.
