Art Glass Vessel
Created by
Eric Bladholm
Blown glass vessel and glass stopper with attached brushed finish aluminum branch. Inspired by the winter apple orchards of Eastern Europe. A mottled background pattern is contrasted by calligraphic branch-like lines accented with random spots of apple red. After the vessel has cooled, a stopper is created out of a metallic oxide glass and a custom cast aluminum branch is attached. Every piece is blown personally by the artist and has a unique surface pattern. Size will vary slightly. Aluminum is partially polished and has a eggshell sheen and is wax sealed.
