Poppies Vase

This clear encased vase depicts the beautiful poppies that cover the hills of California every spring and summer. Master artist Bruce Sillars applies each poppy petal using a torch. The depth of the color in each petal comes from a triple overlay of colors that the artist makes from scratch, then hand pulls into torchworking glass canes.
