My Dahlias

The artist has a lovely friend on the coast of Northern California, she has a huge garden next to the sea with over 250 Dahlia varieties, and luckily she shares the bulbs with Myers now and then. The result is that the artist now has her own modest dahlia garden, these flowers that she etched are her favorite ones so she picked a bouquet and drew them. This is a flattened globe with a narrow neck and a flared top that she has carved dahlia leaves all around. It is a stunning piece.
