Red Marker

Red is often considered an auspicious color. It represents passion, strength, devotion and is associated with good luck. This blown glass totem or cairn, handcrafted in a striking red color, stands as a marker indicating positive energies for the way forward. Its form and proportions are inspired by those of a tori gate. Each slightly unique stone element is shaped of the molten glass, stacked, and fused together in succession. After completion the cairn is ground on the bottom to insure stability and then acid etched to create the stone like satin finish.
