Art Glass Sculpture
Created by
April Wagner
Each component of this blown glass sculpture is individually worked at 2400 degrees before allowing to slowly cool in an annealing furnace. The stacked curled shapes in this sculpture reference the elegant feathers of a peacock proudly showing his feathers to all his admirers. Or perhaps they reference waves rolling in from the ocean. The free-form nature of the artist's work lets the viewer's imagination takes flight.
