Double Helix

This sculpture was inspired by the curvilinear shape of DNA as it coils across the piece. It was created by cutting thin pieces of glass and fitting them together, on edge, and fusing them together. This piece was fused multiple times, and finally, after sandblasting, fused to give the shape and a wonderful satin finish. Signed on the back. Limited edition of 10.
