Mediterranean Menorah

Gently undulating waves of blue and turquoise are highlighted with bands of warm amber, capturing the effect of light as it dances across the surface of the water in this handcrafted glass menorah inspired by the Mediterranean sea. A mix of iridized transparent, and opaque glass both reflect and transmit light, giving the feeling of gazing into the sea on a sunny day.

To create this menorah, multiple glass canvases are designed and fired in a kiln. The canvases are then cut into strips, arranged together, re-fired, and slumped on a custom form, giving the piece it's wave like shape. Brass candleholders are affixed to the bottom of the piece, though candles are not included. Each unique menorah will vary slightly. Clean gently with warm, soapy water or with glass cleaner to preserve this piece for many Hanukkah celebrations to come.
