Rainforest Mandala

The colors, textures and patterns of the rainforest is brought to life through this rich and vibrant clay and glass installation. The circular patterns are reminiscent of the rhythmic design of a mandala, while natures colors and textures dance across the wall in this lively collaboration. Hand carved, painted, stained and glazed ceramic is embedded with brightly fused glass to set the strong foundation for the delicately vibrating glass pieces. Hand cut bits of multi-colored glass are meticulously places in a circular fashion that wander in discovery. The 5 clay and 6 glass circle range in sizes from 4 to 16 inches in diameter and mount from 1 to 4 inches from the wall. This piece comes with a full sized template and hardware for easy and accurate installation. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly.
