Secret Spaces

Original acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. Paint applied with palette knife, then scraped and some passages left as the artist surrounded it with organic shapes. Inspiration is from nature, but Guthrie lets the process guide her to completion and unity. Edges are finished in the same color which reflects from the painting color.
