Atlantis

"Atlantis" is a moody abstract painting that features layers of color and a unique use of texture. This painting is from the artist's series, "Flood" which is inspired by solitude and change. The artist has allowed paint to drip and feather in areas to create shifts in color. She has also used textures mediums and scraped into the paint to create intriguing textures which add another layer of interest to the work.

This sides of this painting are unfinished. The canvas is one half an inch deep and though it is wired to hang a bold modern frame would enhance the drama of this artwork.
