Jordan Ford and Austin Littenberg

The Melting Point

"We merge traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques with contemporary methods to create unique glass ornaments and other artwork."

With more than thirty years of combined experience, Jordan Ford and Austin Littenberg collaborate at The Melting Point, a glass studio and hot shop in Sedona, Arizona.

Jordan Ford graduated from Prescott College with dual degrees in geology and studio arts. Over his career, he has had the opportunity to study with and work alongside many notable glass artists from around the world. Ford currently works as studio manager at The Melting Point. His work is featured in a number of galleries throughout the United States.

Austin Littenberg was first introduced to hot glass during a demonstration at the Corning Museum of Glass. This experience inspired him to begin taking glass classes and build his own lampworking studio. In 2011, he earned his BFA in glass from Bowling Green State University. Today, he works as a hot shop glassblower, instructor, and designer at The Melting Point.
