"The woman who chooses to wear my jewelry is artistically aware, currently modern, and fully in touch with her powerful spirit. "

Phyllis Clark creates pieces that reflect her belief that all art is an expression of the soul's collective experiences. Her jewelry is reminiscent of ancient cultures in its rough-hewn simplicity, yet modern in its incorporation of current industrial materials—pieces that allow today's woman to express her uniqueness and personal style.

Clark creates unique designs using recycled resin to encase organic materials such as grass, seaweed, bamboo, and leaves. Some of her work also includes metallic elements and watercolor. She achieves a distinctive, contemporary effect by integrating these materials with quality leather and semiprecious stones.

Clark has spent her entire life in the arts. She first majored in music, then went on to study drawing, painting, beading, and jewelry design at University of California, Irvine; California State University, Fullerton; and Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen, Colorado. She is currently a member of the Los Angeles Art Association.
