Laurette O'Neil

"I create innovative handmade jewelry. My main objective is to keep the design simple and clean. I believe my work draws people in because of its pure and idyllic spirit. I am proud to say that all the pieces are designed and made in the United States."

Design is everything, and everything is about the design—this is the artist's motto for life. From the displays she uses at shows to the artwork in her home, every aspect of her life is inspired by design...and she just so happens to make jewelry. People love her work when they see it, and even more so once they wear it. O'Neil knows she has designed a work of art when a customer loves a piece and can't explain why.

Laurette O'Neil creates each tool that she uses to craft her jewelry. In her workshop, she molds, cuts, oxidizes, polishes, and perfects her designs by hand. She uses materials such as sterling silver, gemstones, minerals, saltwater pearls, 18k gold, and titanium.

O'Neil is a constant apprentice, studying her craft throughout the world. The Southwest gave her the ability to handle gems and minerals, while Alaska allowed her to explore native arts. Berlin taught her how to handle silver and gold. In Stockholm, she gained skills in titanium.
