Kim Savoie Glass

"It's important for me to keep glassblowing fun, while combining design, light, nature, and function into each piece."

Kim's vivacious, energetic, and competitive personality is what drove her to glass in 2011. While building a career with the material her life's passions of nature and clean design began to fuel the aesthetic of her work. This combination now reflects through her functional and decorative pieces. Each piece is designed to stand alone or look great as a grouping.

All of Kim Savoie's pieces are off-hand blown glass out of a 2,100 degree furnace. Her pieces are made in Massachusetts with no finishing molds. Once cooled or annealed pieces are inspected for quality and ready to sell!

Kim began blowing glass at Massachusetts College of Art in Design in 2011. She graduated with her BFA in 2013 with a concentration in glass and photography. After graduating she started learning and working from glass makers such as, Pablo Soto, Boydd Sugiki, Lisa Zerkatwitz, and Bill Gudenrath. Her hard work and talent brought her to work around the world including for the Corning Museum of Glass
