Kevin Boyce

"It is an inspiration to be able to create a piece of glass by hand, and to have my family's love and support in all that I do."

When Kevin Boyce graduated from high school, he went to work in a glass factory, where he found a passion and creativity that fuels him to this day. After 22 years of working with glass, Boyce pursued his dream of starting his own business.

The artist begins by melting glass cullett in an oven at 2000 degrees, then picks up a four foot long pipe to blow each ornament. He rolls each ornament in colored glass powder to form the color.

After cooling in an annealing oven, each ornament is signed with the initial "B" for Boyce.
