Keith Field

Keith Field Goldsmith

"I delight in using my hands to transform natural forms into jewelry that brings a twinkle to the eye and joy to the face every time it is worn."

It is impossible to talk about Keith Field as an artist without acknowledging his deep connection to Coastal Maine, where he works and lives. Each of his jewelry collections conveys an almost palpable homage to his surroundings. From materials to form, every detail is grounded in inspiration not only from the ocean itself, but from the land, the architecture, and the history.

Field takes a classic approach to jewelry design, beginning all pieces with hand fabrication. Pieces are crafted by hand, hammer, and anvil, all of which take place in his studio. Field uses renewed and refined precious metals, with many pieces featuring natural diamonds.

To call the profession of jewelry-making a lifelong endeavor is no exaggeration to Field's story. In his 20s, he engaged in fabrication classes with C. Bauer Studio in New York City, as well as various classes at Haystack Studios in Deer Isle, Maine. Through this, his personal jewelry creations took form, continuing to grow and expand into the many collections he creates today.
