Hsiang-Ting Yen

HTY Jewelry

"I truly enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from knowing how much joy my jewelry brings to those who wear it. My goal is to always trust my artistic gut when it comes to jewelry design. I am determined to create the most unique and timeless pieces for every one of my jewelry lovers. It is not a dare, it is a promise. "

Hsiang-Ting Yen's work has been shifting from a literal aesthetic to one that is more abstract and organic. Her emphasis is on the relationship between the jewelry and the wearer. The majority of her jewelry is designed for confident and sophisticated metropolitan women. Her pieces convey a symphony of bold colors, organic forms, gemstones, wearability, and artistic instincts.

Yen's Revel series is the marriage of geometric-inspired elements and electroformed enamel designs. She is intrigued by the endless possibilities of the triangle form.

In 2012, Hsiang-Ting Yen received her MA and MFA degrees in metals and jewelry from Savannah College of Art and Design. During her graduate school training, she created jewelry for her loved ones as well as for clients that she met at craft shows. She became absorbed with the challenge of brainstorming designs and making the jewelry, and so, in order to share her passion with the world, she founded HTY Jewelry in 2013 in Raleigh, NC.
