Diana Crain

"My functional vases express my love of both painting and ceramics. I love the creativity of combining design, engineering, color, function, and whimsy."

Diana Crain has been a ceramic artist since 1973. She began as a functional potter producing porcelain dinnerware. Today, she creates unique, decorative, and whimsical wall vases in many styles and shapes. Made of earthenware clay and decorated with underglazes, each piece is hand painted and has a water-safe vessel to hold fresh or dried flowers.

Diana Crain received a BFA-BAE degree from Indiana University and Herron School of Art. She is a self-taught ceramic artist and teacher.
